January is a froggy month, as we adventure alongside the Amagaeru and Numakai in the Uragakure Barrow Realm. This swampy realm is tied to a secret entrance somewhere in the Mikata Wetlands, which rogue Hanzaki have accessed in order to hatch an unsanctioned Ryujin to start their own clan. In comparison to the Hikiga toad folk who live in the Mikata, the Amagaeru are frogs with much more acquatic prowess, lithe and acrobatic in contrast with the stolid Hikiga. Much closer to them are the Numakai, also toad folk, but who much more closely resemble their animal brethren (including their large variance in size and appearance).

As usual, our wonderful themed base and terrain pack was sculpted by Calrais, with concept art by Paul Ferret. We have a perfect fit with our throwback base and terrain pack this month, along with Hareto, Hanzaki Ninja riding his diplocaulus mount, and Zulrida, Sommos Pyraja Pirate riding her pelican bomber!

The CobraMode.com website has been updated with individual pages for each collection, so you can now reference our past collections easily there! I’m planning on adding character lists and pages, lore pages, and more to the website this year. I want to (eventually) make it searchable so that you can easily cross reference lore and characters with collections and links to our store. Some people have said they’d like to see a map of the world also. If you have suggestions for things you’d like to see, leave them in the comments!
