July’s collection takes place in the idyllic Sylvan Forest, where the Ciorcal Druids rule. The Grimnismal, the Seven Stags, are the gods of nature that they worship. Three Stags are dedicated to Winter and three to Summer, and the remaining Stag is Verelaith, the god of changes. Where Summer will not let life and growth cease, and Winter will not suffer life to begin or exist, the god of changes brings balance. Verelaith created a song, the Verdant Dirge, a self-perpetuating infection that embodied the cycle of birth and death, to curb the powers of both Winter and Summer alike. Those infected with the Dirge will experience radical changes, their flowers blooming and eventually wilting and dying, taking the host’s life with it and leaving behind an echo of the song to start the cycle anew.

Our bases and terrain pack is particularly awesome this month, with the sculpting done by Calrais and concepts by Paul Ferret. We also have a great Throwbacks bonus this month, with a mix of bunny assassins, goofy hanzaki cavalry, and an asian-themed base pack.
