The January Collection explores the Sylvan Forest and the Ciorcal Druids who live there. A beautiful, fairytale-like area, the Sylvan Forest is lush and full of old-growth life. The Druids of the Ciorcal protect their forest vehemently according to the will of the Grimnismal, the Seven Stags whom they worship and obey. The fickle Stags are no friends to anyone, though; chaotic neutral to the core, their whims can range from minute to minute and frequently are cross-purpose to each other. As a result, the Ciorcal Druids are a capricious bunch, sometimes dangerous, sometimes helpful, but always unpredictable. Even some who seem more benign, like old Torramhan, sometimes called the Oakfather, or Odhran, the herb master, will follow the mercurial whims of the Grimnismal whether it benefits anyone or not. Right now they have a particular allegiance to the God of Growth, Caerthann, who is ascendant in the summer and aids their particular causes best. Odhran’s Mirethbalm Shrub Plant Constructs, for example, are animated through magic drawn from Caerthann, and aid Odhran’s efforts at collecting and processing herbs for his potions and elixirs.

Our naturalistic bases and terrain pack was sculpted by Kittifizz and Calrais, with concept art by Paul Ferret, and are the perfect forest accoutrements! We’re still backlogged on stats due to my forgetfulness, but we’re up to June 2024 right now. Our stats are created by Conflux Creatures, who makes some really cool creature stats, and you should check out his Patreon to see more of what he does!
